Medan Kitchen in Rosemead is a hidden gem for those seeking authentic Indonesian cuisine. They offer a wide selection of traditional Indonesian dishes and ingredients, bringing a taste of Indonesia to California. The food is expertly prepared by Ms. Siuchen, whose cooking evokes fond memories of fresh, spicy Indonesian flavors.During my visit, I tried the beef dendeng, balado telur, bala-bala, and singkong goreng. Each dish was bursting with authentic spices and flavors, taking me right back to the streets of Indonesia. I highly recommend Medan Kitchen to anyone craving a genuine Indonesian dining experience.

Indonesian store with ready served indonesian foods, cakes, and snacks. Friendly staff. Decent price. Portion is ok. Recommended for craving Indonesian food and stuff.

I visited this Indonesian restaurant and had a really pleasant experience. The flavors were rich and authentic, and everything tasted freshly prepared. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt warm and comfortable. It’s a great spot to enjoy Indonesian dishes, and I’d be happy to come back again.

Great staff and delicious fresh food daily. Amazing market included as well. A bit pricey but you pay for what you get, great authentic Indonesian food!

Amazing Indonesian restaurant with prepackaged meals for carry out (they have a microwave to warm up) and a full selection of Indonesian groceries. Some of the dishes are served street style, wrapped in banana leaf. They have utensils and plates and a little seating area outside. The dishes are made by a chef onsite. Everything is fresh and delicious.

'Delicious and affordable', those are 2 words describing the experience of having Indonesian foods in Medan Kitchen. Although the place is on the suburb area, it's totally worth coming here and enjoying authentic taste of Indonesian foods and will surely come back again!

This place has a great variety of Indonesian foods, snacks, and spices. They are family-owned, and the people are super nice and friendly. The chef is an amazing lady in her 70s who truly knows how to use the perfect amount of spices in every dish. You can really taste the love and experience in the food. Highly recommended!
